Food was delicious, totally forgot about the picture but took one after the first bite. Both Chilaquiles were really good, the salsas are really good also and the coffee was good it had cinnamon like traditional “cafe de la olla”. One thing that might make it better is for the portions to be bigger since you are paying to add extras that usually should come included in the plate but instead the portions given are small.
El Itacate offers an exceptional and authentic dining experience. The food is not only delicious but beautifully presented. My husband and I are especially fond of the chilaquiles en salsa verde, and the pan de elote is a must-try dessert. The service is consistently top-notch, making every visit a delight.
Everytime I'm at the valley this is where we want to have brunch, the chilaquiles are so good!!! My husband's favorite , they're a bit spicy but if u can handle heat these are bomb , the portions are also great u won't go hungry. Last time I had the tacos a la plancha and they were really good too

Amazing chilaquiles verdes!!! Literally the best I’ve tried. My husband had pupusas and they were really good too. Plus the portions are more than enough for all appetites I’d say 😋 A good experience overall. *only thing is I wish they had fountain drinks
I did a to go since I work early. Did not take long I have a hard time finding someone to make chilaquiles in this style usually they are square and soggy I prefer this style slightly crunchier and more Mexican style. I don’t like mozzarella I was given the opportunity of fresh cheese so they definitely accomidate. Very tasty! I am glad I found a restaurant I can trust! Been looking for a good one since I moved. 😍☺️💖
The best chilaquiles, the only bad thing is that they are close by 4pm. Sometimes I want chillaquilles for dinner. We had the REKETE chilaquiles mini omg its huge, with panela cheese. ALWAYS delicious.

Hidden Gem in South Texas, I highly recommend this establishment to all my fellow first responders. The staff are very friendly and polite with big smiles. The food presentation was exceptional and the food was amazing.
The Reketes (mini & Regular size) were absolutely delicious and definitely a lot for one person. The Plancha tacos were delicious as well. Definitely passed expectations.
